Camp Crystal Lake (the BEFORE post)

This week the outdoors will be our classroom while we are on our camping trip at Crystal Lake.

Hurricanes!

This year we were fortunate and did not have any hurricanes effect us in Gainesville. Last year, two days of the first week of school were canceled because of Tropical Storm Fay.

Find out more about hurricanes by visiting the FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) website for kids. I'm not going to tell you where to find the answers to these questions, so you need to put on your detective hat and get to work.
